Prior behavior created a bad stripe. Enhancement fails copyback instead. User can recover by executing an array sync, then reinitiating copyback. 1.4. Using an image writing application, such as dd for Linux, or rawrite for Windows, create a diskette from each of the five image files. Number the diskettes with the number from the filename (the ibm_fw1_ips... file creates diskette number 1). 2. Insert diskette number 1 into the floppy drive (or into a USB floppy drive) and reboot the system. 3. The system will boot to DOS. Prompts will lead you through the update process and tell you when to insert the additional diskettes. 4.
